Each box contains over 30 bags providing at least 200 meals per box.
Packaging the food is the most vital part of our organization. Teams raise funds for the ingredients and selflessly assemble to package the food.
This might be a church, school, sports team, youth group, senior group, or any charitable organization.

The meals have been formulated by food scientists to provide a rich source of easily digestible protein, carbohydrates and vitamins needed by a malnourished body and brain. The meals offer all nine of the essential amino acids required for complete nutrition.
The beauty of the food formulation is its simplicity. It is made from readily available, dry ingredients that are easy to package, keep for long periods and require only cooking with water to prepare. Despite the simplicity of the food’s content, it is a nutritionally complex and well- balanced meal, and it meets World Health Organization standards.
New Formulas
Our original food formula was developed in the mid-1970s as an inexpensive, highly nutritious meal that could be shipped, easily prepared and consumed worldwide.
It was important to ensure that the flavor would be appreciated and could easily absorb the flavors and spices preferred by people in diverse communities where it was distributed. Thus, the original flavor was designed to be flavor neutral.
Much has changed since the original launch; specifically we discovered that people facing food insecurity in the US actually prefer a nutritious meal with more flavor.
Additionally, many US food pantries operate on client choice, meaning they allow families to shop the pantry, choosing the food they want to take home.
To increase the likelihood that our nutritious and fortified product would be chosen and consumed by families, we needed a new product with a new flavor and packaging to reflect more contemporary preferences.
While the original formula is still very much in high demand internationally, new research and development produced our domestic recipes featuring American-sourced products with plant based soy protein and over 20 vitamins and minerals.
